Baynier

Quartermaster Baynier will be offering to lighten and deepen items in Wineberry's Weapon Shop in a few minutes!

In spite of the obviously recent renovations, the main room of the shop retains a faint scent of oil and smoke that is not altogether unpleasant.  Several halflings wander about, polishing metal surfaces or adjusting the position of something to better catch the light.  Fresh sawdust is scattered on the ground, wet footprints tracked through it here and there.  You also see the Polveiss disk with a blue-eyed white kitten on it, a tiny bright-eyed calico kitten, the Skaster disk, the Taenarion disk, the Ronen disk, a dusky snow-owl that is flying around, the sparkling Sorrenn disk, a spark-eyed lightning wyrdling, the Demianna disk, a jaunty aurora spirit that is flying around, a large iron-bound barrel and a wooden counter with a plainly wrapped package on it.

Brutish quietly says, "Wow."
Palfin snickers.

Palfin waves.
Sorrenn applauds you.
Fardek cocks his head.
Joness turns to you and cheers!

Asunai lets out a cheer!
Synyster deeply says, "Yay Kotin."
Nicolao nods approvingly to you.

Leafiara turns to you and cheers!

 

You heartily exclaim, "I did something!"

Roldari nods to you.
You burst out in a resounding cheer!

You chuckle.
Wornac blinks.

​

Synyster whispers, "You got picked."

You quietly whisper to Synyster, "Picked for what?"

Baynier recovers the golden wyvern pin and exclaims, "Congratulations everyone!"

​

Tyrosthenes says, "I prefer room order."

​

You smile at Baynier.

Baynier grins.
 

Darconas nods at Tyrosthenes.
Speaking in Guildspeak, Darconas melodically says something you don't understand.

You quietly whisper to Baynier, "What do I do now?"

 

Khylynnia giggles at Tyrosthenes.
Polveiss says, "So much for that, ill go to a real mercahnt."  <--- Wow!
Tyrosthenes says, "All those folks got here late."
Darconas melodically says, "Agreed."
Polveiss stands up.
Polveiss grunts.
Eyffi blinks.
Mister Polveiss just went out.

Speaking raspily to Tyrosthenes, Roldari says, "Dont whine."

Ososis grins.

Xylador shakes his head, totally at a loss.
Ososis blinks at Roldari.

Tyrrah quietly says, "The jester forget the selection was only the first 15."  <--- Not true!  See here.
Ososis asks, "I thought we loved wine? Is this the same group?"
Baynier asks, "Ok! I point and you pass, yeah?"

Ososis squints.

Speaking to Roldari, Tyrosthenes says, "I"ll say what i please."
Roldari nods at Baynier.
Baynier points at you!

You quietly whisper to Baynier, "Forgive my ignorance, what can be lightened?"

​

Spontae asks, "We can get lightning?"

Baynier says, "Not sure you'd really want that."

​

You undo the fastenings of your mithril field plate and remove it.

You carefully examine the mithril field plate and determine that the weight is about 68 pounds.

Speaking heartily to Baynier, you ask, "Can my plate get lighter than 68 pounds?"

​

Baynier whispers, "Usually people would pick... armor, or a particularly heavy container or weapon.  You can use the ANAYLZE and INSPECT verbs to find out if an item can be lightened or deepened."

​

Spartagis nods to you.

​

You analyze your mithril field plate and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should not change."

​

The creator has also provided the following information:

This item can be altered, but should not be altered into something broken, dull, or weak-looking, as the messaging indicates superior craftsmanship that is kept maintained.

The plate is fully unlocked.  The verbs Wear, Remove, Pull, Rub, Dust, and Push can be used on your mithril field plate.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the mithril field plate for you.
 

Roldari nods to you.

Roldari whispers, "Mine is 54."

Spartagis says, "Yea lets get moving."

Lunacelest begins chuckling at Eyffi!

Speaking softly to Eyffi, Khylynnia says, "I'll just follow you around if they do...sooner or later there will be holes and some stuff will fall out."

Khylynnia kisses Baynier on the nose.

Nazrym exclaims, "Random selection is terrible...next time do room order please!"

Nazrym mutters under his breath.

Great Lord Nazrym just went out.

Baynier shrugs.
